US Samsung Gear VR Price and Availability

The Samsung Gear VR was recently launched here in the US in a limited market supply. Over the course of the next couple of months it will be more widespread as production will soon be more than consumer demand. The high demand has made it hard to find the Gear VR, but this is expected to change during the first quarter of 2015.

The US Samsung Gear VR price is currently $199. Presently, you must own a Galaxy Note 4 to be able to use the on-screen display, and with the new Verizon update its noted as more of a seamless integration. Both devices function in unison, and the update features has increased the overall user experience.

There is a SamsungР’В Gear VR bundle option for $249 that comes with an optional controller. While it’s not necessary to have the controller, without it some of the gaming experiences may seem limited.

We expect to see more updates over the course of the next couple of months with other US cellular carriers, and the full integration with the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 is expected.
