Huge Changes in the Concept of the Galaxy S6.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is currently one of the best phones on the market, but dismal sales in 2014 have Samsung looking in a new direction with the upcoming release. The rumors have begun on what’s expected in the Galaxy S6, and until now the information has been mere speculation. The information out of Korea suggests that the intentions of the S6 will radically change, and changes that consumers have been asking for awhile now.

Samsung has made changes with other flagship smartphones to give consumers a more premium look and feel which is where some of the other concept changes have come in. When looking at the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, and Galaxy Alpha with the metal design and higher quality specs, enhancing the Samsung Galaxy S6 was only a matter of time. As the sales with the S5 having taken a serious decline then what was expected, there’s almost no doubt that the following changes will be seen in the Galaxy S6 concept.

The following are the rumored concept changes in the Samsung S series that will be seen in the upcoming S6.

  • Full metal design
  • Octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor at 2.9 ghz
  • Quad HD 5.5” screen display with 2560 x 1440 screen resolution
  • 16, 32, and 64 GB internal memory and expandable to 128 GB
  • 16 MP rear – facing camera and 5 MP front-facing camera

There are also many rumors in circulation of two variants of the Samsung Galaxy S6. The Edge variant would give consumers yet another premium smartphone to choose from as it would feature the Edge controls and curved screen of the Galaxy Note Edge. The S6 variant has become one of the hottest Samsung rumors, and some that we’re looking more into.

Both versions, which would presumably be called the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are expected to be officially announced during the 1st week in March, which would set up a late March 2015 release.
